Closing Costs Grant, Home
Rehabilitation Grant, Emergency
Housing Repair Grant, and
Residential Rental Assistance
Program and also three educational
programs: Homebuyer Education,
Financial Education and Home
Maintenance Training.
Homeownership Program
The homeownership program assists
low-income Native American families
achieve homeownership by offering
qualified families lease-purchase
homes with no down-payment, 5%
interest and 30 year terms. In
addition to being a low-income
Native American family, you must
also be a first-time homebuyer, pass
suitability screening and have a
minimum income.
|
The chart to the
right shows the minimum income for the homeownership program broken
down by household size. If your family's total gross income is
greater than or equal to the minimum income limit for your household
size and you are not over income, then you are income eligible for
the homeownership program.
Although this program is open to all Native
Americans, priority is given to Delaware Nation Tribal Members.
