Tribal Assistance Program

The 10% Social Services program is to provide assistance once a year to tribal members. This program runs on fiscal years (not calendar years). Fiscal years run October 1st to September 31st. This program is on a first come first serve basis until all funds are exhausted. Please request an application from the Social Services Department or download it on our website.

• ASSISTANCE

o Clothing $100
o Food $90
o Utilities $150 (must attach utility bill with application)
 
 
• HEALTH Must submit an invoice with application if you want assistance with health:

o Glasses $200
o Dentures $400
o Hearing Aid $400
 
 
• EDUCATION Must submit a copy of diploma with application to receive the monetary award for graduating:

o High School $60
o College $150
 
 

• BURIAL ASSISTANCE Is for burial expenses and/or marker or monument. The Delaware Nation pays up to $5,500. The application for burial assistance must be received by tribal office within 90 days of tribal members death, please submit the following documents:

o Invoice of funeral home costs
o Death Certificate
