Machi Renovations

Machi Renovations – A majority owned company of the Delaware Nation. This company is a unique company that meets several aspects of the initiatives undertaken by the DNEDA. Formed in April 2011 by the DNEDA, Machi Renovations is a 3 member board.

Machi Renovations acquires foreclosed homes from the market, renovates and resells them. The home foreclosure market has been flooded and MR has purchasing power to acquire homes in areas that have resell potential. The homes will be upgraded or rehabbed to a standard dictated by MR that may include Energy Efficiency appliances, lighting, windows, insulation as well as carpet, sheetrock, roofing, and general repairs necessary to bring the home to MR standards to be resold. The home may even be retained for property management for rental purposes or transferred to the Delaware Nation to be used as affordable housing for Delaware Citizens.

One high priority goal of Machi Renovations is to create jobs in the construction industry & property management. Delaware Citizens have first preference for these jobs if qualified. Construction companies owned by Delaware Citizens are asked to be listed; as these companies have a preference on bids. Home acquisitions will be concentrated in Oklahoma, Utah and California initially and that footprint will be expanded in to more states as the market dictates. Job opportunities will be available in these areas soon and in order to be considered/hired Delaware Citizens are encouraged to provide pertinent information well before the jobs are developed so that we may better assist make the opportunities available to all listed.
